Joining our babysitting co-op is a decision to create a community for yourself. To build close-knit relationships with people you can count on. You're joining a network of background checked, like-minded moms who are also determined to build their local village. You're giving your children opportunities to socialize and grow up spending time with the same kids and families.  You're putting down roots and building yourself a solid support system.

More Than Just Babysitting

Joining a babysitting co-op is more than just babysitting, in a lot of ways! Here are just a few:

  • The co-op will have regularly scheduled play dates and social events. That means you're getting to know the other co-op members; you're not just sending your kids off with someone you met online.

  • You are joining and creating a community. That means you are making friends, and your children are growing up around familiar faces.

  • Co-op members do not exchange money for babysitting services, they exchange tickets. You spend and earn them by participating.

How Does It Work?

  1. You'll fill out some relevant info about yourself and your family.

  2. You'll receive an email with instructions for completing your background check.

  3. Once your background check comes back, you'll get added into the Co-Op's online portal. The portal will be full of information for all co-op members, instructions for joining our private group chat, details for upcoming play dates and social events, and more.

  4. You will receive a welcome packet in the mail. This will include co-op rules and instructions, as well as your set of Childcare Tickets. 

  5. You use your Childcare Tickets in place of money within the co-op. You spend them on childcare and earn them by providing childcare. You can reach out to co-op members directly to request childcare, or use our private group chat.

Things To Keep In Mind:

  1. There are a limited number of members permitted to be involved in the co-op at one time. This is to keep our community tight-nit. When the main co-op reaches capacity, it will be split in to sub-groups based on location (that way your community will be even more local to you). The sub-groups will also have a limited number of spots available.

  2. Pricing is subject to change. However - if you are are a member, your pricing will stay the same for the duration of your membership (one year).

  3. Your membership will expire after 12 months. At this time, you will need to renew your membership if you would like to continue participating. This means resubmitting your background check. There will also be a review on our end to make sure you were active within the co-op over the past year.

  4. You'll be expected to show up for play dates and social gatherings with other members of the co-op. This is so you can get to know the other co-op families and they can get to know you. Details about this requirement will be outlined in your welcome packet. 

  5. Your Childcare Tickets are like gold! Don't lose or destroy them :)
